Samuel Fenton is a Tasmanian based artist, inspired by nature and spirit whilst also exploring our relationship with industrialisation and consumerism.

He works in a range of mediums and styles, the current focus is acrylic and mixed media, where raw abstract pieces are produced, then refined using aerosol, glazes and other detailing.

Music and setting plays an important role in helping shape the movements and decisions that are used to create the pieces.

Sam has exhibited a large volume of works over the last few decades. After a number of years Sam has now reinvented his approach and is producing a new body of work.

Much enjoyment has been found painting illusionism and a variety of different murals and contributing to other art based projects such as painting theatre sets and event setups.

Sam is available for commissions where a private and/or broader interest can be facilitated.
